LEVELUPSKILLZ

Our editorial method and tools

Readable sources, explicit limitations and a way to request a correction.

Policy published November 2, 2026.

Who publishes these resources?

LevelUpSkillz is the commercial publisher of this website and its products. ‘LevelUpSkillz Editorial Team’ is our organizational byline, not a roster of health professionals or evidence of a clinical team. We do not present our guides as consultations with doctors, psychologists or therapists. The existing About and Editorial Team pages explain the publisher’s identity.

How do we choose topics?

We prioritize a specific question that can lead to a useful action: understanding invisible responsibility, preparing a handoff, organizing a transition or simplifying a week. First we check whether an existing guide already answers it. Topic paths are collections connecting those guides; they do not count as new original articles. A French translation is not a second original resource.

What counts as a source?

Background sources include identifiable research, official publications and guidance from organizations whose role is clear. We distinguish a study’s findings, its limitations and our practical suggestion. An association observed in a questionnaire does not show that a product causes an improvement. A sample of mothers in one country does not automatically represent all Canadian parents.

What is original?

Planning examples, reading paths and organizational tools are our editorial suggestions. Fictional scenarios are labeled. We do not present adaptations as academic research, original research datasets, customer testimonials or validated protocols. A tool can be useful for discussion without having clinical validity.

How do the calculators work?

The Mental Load Calculator counts reported management and execution stages. Each stage has equal weight, and exclusions are explained. The balancer uses estimated minutes and an availability ratio; it suggests transfers that reduce distance from that target. The Routine Builder removes optional steps if the time budget is exceeded and flags when essential steps do not fit. The planner compares entered times and a chosen buffer; it does not use live traffic. Each tool explains its method and limitations before input.

What are the health limitations?

Our content is educational and cannot diagnose a condition, assess clinical risk or choose treatment. We do not claim qualified review unless it has actually happened. Persistent distress or difficulty functioning deserves professional support. Everyday terms such as ‘mommy brain’ are not treated as diagnoses. Future content about memory, depression, treatment or complex symptoms must remain in draft when it cannot be adequately supported.

Personal data and measurement

The four hub tools keep answers only in the tab’s memory. They send no answers, labels or results to a server and save nothing automatically in browser storage. Reloading or leaving the page clears input. Existing site analytics may count page and tool usage using the tool identifier and language, without answers or results. Printing uses your device’s dialog; you choose where to save a PDF. Existing services and products follow their own rules described in the privacy policy.

Dates, translations and corrections

A new guide shows its publication date and actual latest revision. We do not refresh an article’s date merely because it appears in a new collection. French pages have their own URL, canonical and a link to the English equivalent. Report an error to support@getlevelupskillz.com with the URL, relevant passage and, if possible, a verifiable source. We verify corrections before changing the content; no specific response time is promised.

Commercial relationships and discovery

Mom Is Off Duty and Family Chaos Forecast are LevelUpSkillz products. Links to them are commercial recommendations by the publisher, not independent endorsements. Free guides and tools remain useful without a purchase. Sitemaps, internal links, language versions and structured data help engines understand pages; they guarantee neither indexing, rankings nor AI citations. Permission in robots.txt does not prove an engine has indexed an article.
